THE BOYS LITTER

Our last litter, born May 2011, is the "boys" litter as it was a litter of four puppies with all boys and one girl.  We decided to keep the girl and she is appropriately named "SandsCape Pardon Me Boys", also known as Ginger. We can't wait to see what this GIRL can do.
THE ROYAL WEDDING LITTER

Born April 29th 2011 between 5am-9am we welcomed 10 puppies into the world from start to finish of watching the Royal Wedding.  A colorful combination of liver and liver and tan pointed puppies, we are excited for those that will start their show careers late in 2011.
OTHER PAST LITTER ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Bio-Sensor Stimulation Program
CLICK HERE FOR AN IN DEPTH ARTICLE
The U.S. Military developed a program in the 1970’s called "Bio Sensor." (Became publicly known and is often referred to as the "Super Dog" Program.) The program was developed to improve the performance of dogs used for military purposes.

The basic premise of the program is that early neurological stimulation exercises will affect the performance of the dog. The Army’s research revealed that early stimulation of the puppy from the 3rd day through the 16th day influence rapid neurological growth and development.

SandsCape Field Spaniels incorporate the Bio-Sensor or "Super Dog Program" into our socialization and temperament development regime. The Bio Sensor program easily fit into our established puppy rearing process and supports our Values.

We have always believed that handling dogs at an early age helps with the physical, emotional and social development of the puppy and this program verifies that.

GALLERY OF GINGER - BIS BISS Gold GCH SandsCape Pardon Me Boys
Our dogs live in our home as part of our family.  We tell everyone we know that our dogs are our family and companions first and show dogs or performance dogs second.  Our puppies, of course, are also raised in our home as part of our family.  They are exposed to the everyday life of a household from the sounds of vacuum cleaners, dishwashers, to the sounds of nieces and nephews or grandchildren whizzing by, elderly, playtime outdoors, etc. While the puppies are with us they are exposed to crates for crate training when they are ready, and riding in the car in their crates, nail clippings, general grooming/clipping, etc.  We want to ensure that a puppy already in a new home and away from their siblings are not exposed to these unusual things for a first time so we give them this important exposure  while they are with us.  We do our best to garner their experiences for them.

Prior to basic socialization and exposure to "life" while we have them we also practice the BioSensor program on all of our litters at an early age.  This program is simple daily exercises performed with the puppies in their first 2 weeks.  Research has shown that these exercises can improve a puppies neurological system during this early time period by exposing them to different simple stimulation.

All of our puppies are registerable with the AKC, have a health guarantee, are microchipped, dewormed, eyes certified clear of disease by a canine opthamologist,  vaccinations, and a final wellness check/guarantee by a veterinarian before leaving for their new family.  Each puppy goes home with its own package of information to include basic puppy care as well as a copy of the puppy contract or sales agreement, helpful articles on the breed, training tips, pedigree, microchip registration info, etc.

It is our goal to find the best possible puppy for each home and vice versa. We have raised them to the point they are ready to leave for their new homes and match personalities to each family we work with for the best possible fit.
